Dr. Johnston graduated from the University of Utah with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Brigham Young University. Dr. Johnston is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of Utah Nurse Practitioners and Utah Hormone Providers. She is licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner & provides care for patients of all ages.

Dr. Johnston is married and has 8 children and 13 grandchildren. In addition, she and her husband have been foster parents to 17 children. She is a functional medicine provider and loves helping men, women, and children understand how to feel their best. She listens to concerns and actively involves patients in developing a personalized health plan. Dr. Johnston not only wants patients to feel their best, but loves to help them look their best. Before pursuing her Doctorate, Dr. Johnston owned a Day Spa near Coeur d'Alene, ID where she used to live with her family. Her passion has continued as she incorporates the treatments of a MedSpa into her Functional Medicine Clinic.

Dr. Johnston also has the 1st Votiva machine in Utah County that uses bi-polar Radio Frequency to treat urinary incontinence, frequency, urgency, recurrent vaginal infections, decreased vaginal sensation and lack of lubrication due to childbirth, aging and menopause. There is no pain or downtime with this less than 30 minutes in office procedure. It works directly on resolving the root cause of pelvic floor and vaginal health concerns.

Ekaete Udodong, FNP is our family nurse practitioner. She has advanced education and clinical training in family health and treats men, women and children. Ekaete also specializes in women’s health including, but not limited to, routine physicals and pap smears, contraceptive counseling, pre-marital exams and counseling, hormone replacement therapy, prenatal counseling, abnormal bleeding and other acute and chronic diseases. Ekaete received a master’s degree from Westminster College and also earned a master’s degree in Community Health Nursing from the University of Utah. Ekaete is married and has two children. She is from a small community in Nigeria and has been in the United States for about ten years. She enjoys singing, teaching, dancing and reading but especially enjoys spending time with her family
